Summer Internship:

A very effective way of starting a relationship with Chandigarh Business School is through the summer internship program. After first year of studies students are required to undergo 6-8 weeks of training in an organizational setting to gain industry exposure.  Summer internship not only helps in valuable word of mouth publicity on campus but also gives companies an opportunity to evaluate candidates before committing to a permanent hire.
Students are placed for practical training in various establishments according to their area of interest and specialization. Faculty members of respective departments monitor training of students in different industries. Analysis of training is carried out on the basis of evaluation report received from the industries, matter content and presentation of the training report submitted by the students and viva-voce conducted by the expert committee constituted (discipline wise) for the purpose.

Conferences / Seminars / Workshops & Guest Lectures:

With a view to bridge the gap between industrial requirements and academic curriculum, experts from the various fields of management are invited to share their experiences & views on various topics of immense importance & value for the students. They also address the students on their expectations from B-School passouts so that the gap between the industry expectations and B-School products is bridged suitably.

Besides recruitment-related activities, companies are also welcome to visit our facilities and meet faculty members for exploring new areas of collaborative research and consultancy projects.
