Message From the President's Desk
“Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.”
Warren Buffett, American Investment Entrepreneur
India today is on the cusp of a new phase in its socio-economic history.
Education is a critical imperative of the rapid growth. The various studies have demonstrated that there is a positive correlation between education and economic development. A World Bank Study of 192 countries reveals that while 16% of total economic growth can be attributed to physical factors such as machinery, building and other infrastructure, another 20% to natural capital, while the major chunk of growth comes through the care of human and social capital. This clearly shows the role education plays in the economic prosperity of a nation’s development.
Companies today are experiencing a colossal paucity of competent managerial personnel. As the recent data spawned by various reputed organizations clearly establishes India’s edge in growth figures visa-vis its competitors. This shortage is going to accentuate further as the Indian economy booms in future. The sunny side is more job opportunities for talented people with the right type of skills and competencies across the sectors.
