Bachelor of Commerce – Honours (B.Com.)
CBSA, CGC, Landran offers a B.Com. Honours course which is specifically designed to prepare professionals equipped with knowledge and skills related to finance and business management and providing a variety of managerial skills to aspiring students. We offer a B.Com. course with diverse specialization in fields like Accounting, Economics, Finance, Law, Indirect Taxes, and Business Communication. Students demonstrate a strong drive to pursue all-round excellence in addition to having good communication and leadership skills. We aim to prepare our students to select their professional careers from several options.
B.Com. Honours at CGC is a three-year full-time degree program which is affiliated to I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU). The scholastic structure of the program is inclusive of live industry projects, industry training, e-commerce, and hands-on experience in the realm of business. This degree is a stepping stone for students for Professional education like CS, CMA CA.
Students who have passed 10+2 examination of Punjab School Education Board or any other examination board recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 33% marks in the aggregate or at least 40% marks in aggregate in case of students who have opted for two of the following commerce subjects in 10+2:
- Accountancy
- Business Studies
- Economics
- Mathematics
- Office Management and Secretarial Practice
- Principle and Practice of Insurance
- Tax Procedure and Practice And 45% for other candidates
