Overview about Department of RISE:
Department of RISE aims to nurture Innovation and Entrepreneurship culture in Semi-urban and Rural India. Department of RISE brings together startups, industry mentors and eminent academicians and researchers who thrive on continuous interaction of theory and practice. Department of RISE encourages the young minds, students and Innovators and Ideators to undertake entrepreneurship as a career option and set up a successful start-up.
Objectives:
- To create an ecosystem to innovate, ideas and design solutions
- To increase the capacity of the aspiring innovators in evolving technologies and designing their novelties from ideation to impactful solutions.
- To channelize the energy of our entrepreneurs to create social impact and help India to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals
- To provide the incubator facilities to incubate for the development of robust, innovative solutions to address the community issues.
- To facilitate capacity building of potential innovators for developing innovation ecosystem in the region.
