To encourage research activities and advanced reading CBSA, CGC, Landran has an updated library consisting of various textbooks, e-books and journals, and e-journals. The intake of the latest editions of textbooks is a regular feature in the library and no important title related to any course is missed. CBSA library consists of approx. 18,000+ books plus more than 19,000 e-books (Management and Computer Application) and 17500 of e-journals.

In addition to the course textbooks the library includes various books, journals, and e-journals which help the students to increase the knowledge through current affairs as mentioned below:

• Handbooks
• Yearbooks
• Reference books etc. are also added to the collection.

The library subscribes to national and international subject journals, magazines of current interest along with national dailies to keep the students abreast of the day-to-day happenings around the world and their fields of study.

Besides this, the students/ faculty/ staff can access the resources of the National Digital Library of India (NDL) which consist of > 7 lakh books, 3 lakh research papers, 95,000 + thesis.

Since the Internet plays a vital role in today’s modern-day life, undoubtedly this 21st century belongs to “the era of web information”. The need for Internet in the education field is supported by round the clock high-speed Internet connectivity. It has a strong backbone of dedicated OFC link all around the campus. So, students can simply enhance their knowledge as well as extract unlimited e-Information.

In addition to this, students are also given Wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi) using which they can easily access information online anywhere in and around the campus using their laptops. Also, students get several facilities of e-mail, net surfing, downloading of web-based applications, and helps them in preparing projects and seminar presentations. The Wi-Fi coverage is not just confined to classrooms only but also extends to areas like Cafeteria, Library, Auditorium, Sports Complex, Guest House, and Hostels. Spacious e-classrooms with excellent ambiance and modern teaching aids like LCD, NPTEL video courses, multimedia projectors, etc. are made available to the students. On the other hand, e-classrooms also act as a magnificent medium for conducting technical quizzes, seminars, and paper presentation contests.

The campus has the facility of a spacious and clean canteen that caters to the taste of all students. A spacious and clean canteen that can conveniently accommodate 500 students at a time, functioning in the campus. The canteen is fully equipped with modern furniture and electrical automatic furniture, automatic cooking and storing facilities, which provides snacks, lunch, snacks and beverages both to the students and staff as well at reasonable rates. It is well maintained with efficient service and a take away counter. The canteen remains open on all working days. Beverages of different flavors are served on different days according to different seasons.

We also have a magnificent cafeteria SIP-N-BITE that offers an exotic range of fast food at completely nominal prices. When the grind of the studies reach its height, students seek refreshment in the dazzling SIP-N-BITE offers a wide range of fast food varieties at nominal prices.

Grab a snack or a meal at our outlet in the campus, vegetarian or non-vegetarian. CGC has turn out to be healthier, tastier and more nutritious with the introduction of “Subway”. This fully air-conditioned outlet can easily accommodate over 50 people.

A drink that’ll always be on by side; in the morning before a chemistry class, in the night before you sit down to study for an exam is- a cup of hot brewing coffee. We understand the need of coffee as the utmost hour of a student’s life and so, we bring forth an association with India’s most brewing coffee deliverers – ‘Café Coffee Day’.

Café coffee day has been set up in the campus at a cute spot, more like a casual coffee stop over for the students strolling by.

Our gymnasium is an excellent recreational facility with fully equipped weight-training section and sports equipment. Students can make effective use of facilities for maintaining a good physique and sound health by using this spacious gym facility. The campus has a spacious gym provided with all latest equipment’s required for physical exercises and gymnastics so that students can make effective use of facilities for maintaining a good physique and sound health.

CBSA, CGC, Landran owns a fleet of luxurious transport buses that pick and drop faculty members and students from different places. The transport facility is spread across a wide range of areas covering Ropar, Kurali, Kharar, Banur, Rajpura, MandiGobindgarh, Khanna, Sirhind, Fatehgarh Sahib, BassiPathan, Samrala, and Ludhiana etc.

In order to provide round the clock medical facilities to the students as well faculty, dispensary is created at the campus that attends to unforeseen medical emergencies. CBSA, CGC, Landran possesses a full-fledged medical dispensary under the supervision of well qualified and experienced doctors as well as nurses. Salient features in this regard are:-

• 24 hour medical care availability.
• Free medicines to students & staff from the college dispensary.
• We have a tie-up with surrounding hospitals including Sohana Hospital, Fortis Hospital, Cosmo Hospital, Ivy Hospital, etc. for concessional consultancy, tests and treatment.
• To deal with emergency cases, college transport is available round the clock to carry the patients for treatment at surrounding hospitals.

The ATM of the Punjab National Bank (PNB) and State Bank of India (SBI) are placed in-house which provide round the clock banking services in the college. This facility can be availed by the students and staff of the college.

In addition to ATM facilities, a branch of Capital Small Finance Bank is also inside the campus area which takes care of all banking needs of the students. On enrolment, every student can open an account with the bank and can make full use of banking services, Internet Banking and ATM facilities.
