Brief details of the event highlights: MBA Department, Chandigarh Business School of Administration, Landran, organized a session on Psychological well-being titled “A moment of Transition: Releasing the Cocoon” Positive mental health and wellbeing enable us to function well, have meaningful social connections, positive self-esteem and be better able to cope with life's ups and downs on 1st September 2022. Keeping our mind healthy is an important part of our overall health and wellbeing. Being in good emotional as well as physical health enables young people to deal with the challenges of adolescence and eases their transition into adulthood. During the session Dr Gagandeep Kaur discussed the different factors that affect the mental health of students and what are various challenges faced by the adults during their college life.
Response of the audience: The first year students liked the presentation and they were highly responsive and interactive. The sessions helped them in addressing their queries regarding their mental issues. The resource person encouraged the students to make social connections a priority in their lives and avoid Alcohol, smoking and drinking habits.
