Chandigarh Business School of Administration, Landran organized a week long Annual Faculty Development Program from 18th-22nd July, 2022. This year the theme of the FDP was “Innovations, Challenges and Preparedness for the New Education System”.The aim of this FDP is to strengthen the education system by understanding the challenges, learn how to tackle them and embrace the new education system.
The inaugural ceremony of the FDP was held on 18th July, 2022 with the blessings of our Hon'ble management; Satnam Singh Sandhu - Chairman Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran and Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal - President Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran and in the august presence of the Dr. PN Hrisheekesha, Campus Director, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran and Dr. Ramandeep Saini, Director-Principal, CBSA, CGC Landran and other digitaries.
Lt. Col. Kailash Bansal, Director Margdarshan Cell, AICTE, New Delhi was the chief guest and sir joined us virtually.The inaugural session was also joined online by our international guests of honor Mr. Tristan Harding, Program Coordinator & Lecturer at International College of Hotel Management Pty. Ltd. Adelaide, South Australia, Australia, Dr. Charlito Penilla Cadag, Honorable President of Camarines Sur Polytechnic, Philippines and Dr Andrey Kornilenko, HOD Education, Management, Expertise and Research Center,Moscow, Russia.
The eminent national and international experts from diverse areas delivered the sessions on the topics related to the FDP theme.
Day 1 of the FDP The external session was delivered by Mr. Gagandeep Sidhu, Certified life coach on Powerful Ways to Make Happiness Routine through Time Management.
The internal expert sessions was delivered by Mr. Barinder Sawhney - Director-HR, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran, Major Harjit Singh Aulakh - Director - Administration, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran, Mr. Balwinder Singh, Dy. Registrar, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran and Dr. Ramandeep Saini - Dean International Affairs and Director-Principal, Chandigarh Business School of Administration, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran.
Day 2 of the FDP 2nd day of the FDP included expert speakers from internal, external and international repute. The Ms Gagandeep Bhullar, Dean Student Welfare delivered the session on Operations and Functions of Dean Student Welfare, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran and on Dealing With Ethical Dilemmas in Teaching.
The next session on the topic of “Light But Tight' Regulatory Framework to Promote Integrity, Transparency and Quality Education” was delivered by Dr. Sanjay Kaushik - Professor, University Business School, Panjab University.
Post lunch session delivered by Dr. Karminder Ghuman - Associate Professor and Area Chair – Marketing & Entrepreneurship, LM Thapar School of Management, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Dera Bassi Campus on Tips And Techniques for Writing and Publishing International Quality Research Paper.
Our International expert Dr. Filmor J Murillo, MDC - Associate Professor, Camarnes Sur Polytechnic College joined us virtually and delivered session on Outcomes-Based Education in The Philippines: Philosophies, Perceptions and Practice.
Dr. Sumeet Goyal - Head - Internal Quality and Assurance Cell, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran. Delivered a session on “Achieving Outcome Based Education for Accreditation Purpose”.

Prof. (Dr.) GD Sharma - Formerly Chairman Yoga Department HPU and Registrar and Dean Academics University of Patanjali Haridwar, delivered an insightful session on Philosophical and Practical Aspects of Yoga for Effective Teaching.
Mr. Amrinder Singh - Director, White Rock Wealth Pvt. Ltd., delivered a session on Financial Management for Self-Economic Empowerment. Mr Singh also presented the surprise gifts to the participants who answered the quiz questions.
Dr. Sneh Bansal - Director Principal, Chandigarh College of Education, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran delivered an important session on Planning For Effective Instruction and Design of Rubric for Effective Assessment of the Students.

Dr Sunil, Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Management, Amritsar delivered an important session on Effective Class Engagement with Web 2.0 through Utilization of Edtech Resources.
An Online Quiz was conducted on National Education Policy and the three winners were given surprise gift hampers.
