Summary report of the event: MBA Dept., CBSA, CGC, Landran in collaboration with ACIC, RISE organized 3 days mega event B-STARTER- SEASON 6 from 15th-17th March 2023. The aim of this event was to create awareness among aspiring Job Creators in different aspects of entrepreneurship as an another career option B- Starter with a theme of Idea Initiation to Implementation for Community Upliftment is being organized which will include Entrepreneurship Development Program, Challenges and Hand Holding.
Experts from academia, Industry, Innovative Entrepreneurs and experts from various Industries and sectors from Punjab addressed students during EDP programmes, and guided them to turn their entrepreneurship ideas into reality. It is an intensive brainstorming event where individuals from different backgrounds, skills and interests converge to diagnose predefined problems, identify the best opportunities and ideate the most viable solution. So they come up with innovative ideas to solve the problems of society at large and their new ideas selected and will be given the opportunity to promote at ACIC RISE. However, ultimate success requires a platform to present their Entrepreneurship ideas.
Twenty teams pitched their business ideas to jury members. The jury consisted of industry experts Mr. Hitesh Kumar Gulati, Founder, Diversity Ace Business Consulting, and Mr. Sanjay Shukla, Intonivesh, Chandigarh. Ten teams shortlisted for final round. The chief guest for the last day was Ms. Himja Rana, Founder, BossLADIES.
The event also consisted of mime based on success stories from shark tanks, online quiz on government schemes and support for Startups and theatrical presentation on converting job seekers into job givers by MBA students.
The winners were Team Heathens from DAV College, Chandigarh, second position was bagged by team A.K. Caretaker, CBSA CGC Landran and third position was bagged by Team Jupiter from CBSA, CGC Landran. The winners were given Rs 15,000, 10,000 and 5,000 cash prizes respectively. 5 Teams won Consolation prizes of 2000 each.
Student Feedback: Students got a platform to present their Entrepreneurship ideas, skills and interests converge to diagnose predefined problems, identify the best opportunities and ideate the most viable solution. It was a good challenging and hand holding Session.

Learning Outcomes: Students from different institutes enhanced their entrepreneurial skills. Student’s entrepreneurial essence & skills were fostered. Students showcased their ideas in several magnitudes by creating & developing new ventures. Students learnt the ways of dealing with business uncertainties. Students gained theoretical and practical knowledge from other participants & eminent panel of judges. Students developed an overall understanding of current and future trends in business.

PO: - Students/ Participants to develop and submit an original idea or complete their existing business plan based on specific guidelines provided by the organization running the contest.
PSO:- Students will able to put up various Business ideas and plans in front of various organizations at State level and national level.
