Summary report of the event: Department of Computer Applications, CBSA organized workshop on title “Basic Cyber Attacks and Prevention Measures” on 12th-13th April,2023. This workshop focused on the area of interest regarding digital signature, hashing, and adjudication. The experts provided insights into legal actions taken against cybercrimes. They also discussed concerning how ML and AI are used in cyber security. This workshop presented a brief insight into Predictive analysis and explained how companies deal with cyber vulnerabilities.This Technical Event is conducted at department level. Workshop basically focused on:

Learning Outcomes: Students learned about cyber threats, types of cyber-attacks, mitigation techniques. Gave live demo of tracing IP address and cyber security tools. Explored the career opportunities as a Cyber security expert.
