Summary report of the event: MBA Department, Chandigarh Business School of Administration, in association with National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) Punjab Chapter organized the 4th Annual National Business Quiz for the management students of different Business Schools in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh.
CBSA and NIPM launched the event with an objective to promote healthy competition as well as heightened learning among the students. This event helped to provide a common platform to the students where they exchanged ideas and updated their knowledge about the emerging trends and concepts in business.
Mr. Ravinder Chadha, Chairman, NIPM Punjab chapter, Mrs Renu RP Singh, NIPM ExChairperson, Mr. Jorawar Singh, Honorable Treasurer, Mr. SPS Bhalla, EC member, Mr. Ashok Sharma , Life member and Mr. SP Bansal, National Council member were the guests for the day.
A total of fifteen teams from different B-Schools were participated in the quiz competition. Each team comprised of two members. The quiz had two stages one was Preliminary Stage, where all the teams appeared in written test to qualify first round. Out of Fifteen teams eight teams qualified preliminary stage and move to second stage. The second stage was comprised of three rounds viz. Brain Storming, Motto Matchup and Visual Brainteaser.
After Brainstorming round out of eight teams two with lowest marks disqualified for second round. In the similar way after second round five teams for the Third round Visual Brainteaser (Buzzer Round). There were exciting cash prizes for the winners. The details of winners are as follows:
