Department of Commerce, CBSA organized competitions on the occasion of “Intellectual Property Rights awareness Day” on 7th April, 2026. The objective of the event was to create awareness among students about the significance of intellectual property rights and their role in protecting innovation and creativity. The competitions were designed to encourage students to explore various aspects of intellectual property such as patents, copyrights, and trademarks. Through these activities, students were able to express their ideas and understanding creatively while learning about the importance of safeguarding intellectual assets.
The event witnessed active participation from students, making it both informative and engaging. The working models were examined and winners were felicitated with certificates and appreciated by Dr. Seema Saini, HOD, Department of Commerce. It provided a platform for enhancing knowledge as well as promoting creative thinking among participants.
