Industrial visit to well esteem newspaper press Dainik Bhasker, Sirhind was organized by CBSA,
Department of Commerce, for the students of B.COM (Hons.) 2nd Semester on January 27,
2025. Objective of the visit were to understand the end-to-end process of newspaper production,
including content generation, editing, printing, and distribution. The visit provided an insightful
experience into the printing and publication industry, enriching participants with practical
knowledge of the operations and technological advancements used in modern-day newspaper
production. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and escorted to the
manufacturing room, the nerve center of the organization. Mr. Ajay Kumar, from mechanical
department briefed the students about the process. The industrial visit to Dainik Bhaskar was a
valuable learning experience that provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the
inner workings of organization. This visit has enriched our knowledge and appreciation and will
undoubtedly serve as a guiding light in our academic and professional pursuits. The entire
industrialist appreciated the efforts of the institution for organizing the industrial visit, which
enhance the professional and practical knowledge of the students.
