Department of Commerce, Chandigarh Business School of Administration organized a session
on Driving Change: How Innovation, Start-up, and Entrepreneurship transform markets.
The session was conducted with the objective to familiarize the students with the innovation and
entrepreneurship. The resource person for the session was CA Sachin Jain, Certified Concurrent
auditor, certified forensic auditor and certified artificial intelligence practitioner in M/s S Lal
Bansal & Co, Sector 22- C, Chandigarh. The speaker explained the importance of innovation,
creativity, and business growth for enhancing opportunities, taking risks, and having the courage
to turn ideas into reality. He shared examples gained from his personal experiences highlighting
the entrepreneurial journey before stepping into the start-up process. A total number of 85
students from B.COM participated in the session. The session received positive feedback from
attendees with many appreciating real world examples provided by the speaker. The session was
concluded with felicitation of guest and vote of thanks by Dr. Seema Saini, HOD Department of
Commerce.
