Brief details of the event highlights: Department of Computer Applications, CBSA organized an expert lecture on topic “CMS and Frameworks” on 11 May, 2022. The aim of this event was to understand the difference between CMS and Framework, their pros and cons and basic factors to consider in making a choice between the two. The speaker also talked about various open-source CMS platforms like WORDPRESS, Umbraco, Magento, Joomla etc. and various frameworks like .NET, Phalcon, Symfony etc.
Student Feedback: Students found it very interesting, informative and helpful. They participated enthusiastically and inquired about the requirements of different CMS and Frameworks.

Learning Outcomes: Now a day’s CMS have emerged as one of the most widely adopted e-learning platforms. Students showed interest in various CMS platforms and Frameworks. They interacted with speaker to know the demand of CMS in the market and the factors to be considered while choosing the one amongst all. They learned about the difference between the CMS and Framework and also got a view of its interfaces.
