Summary report of the event highlights: Department of Commerce, CBSA organized an expert session on “Beyond Boundaries: Entrepreneurship as a Catalyst for Change” on 16th August 2023. In this session the speaker Mr. Gursimran Singh Oberoi, President of CMA and Founder and Managing Director of the Institution of Professional Banking, Mr Singh’s journey is a testament to the transformative power of entrepreneurship. Key to his journey was the idea of embracing change. Entrepreneurs he emphasized, must remain agile and adaptable in a world that is in a constant state of flux. He highlighted the need to identify the market trends, consumer preferences and emerging technologies and to mould one’s business strategies accordingly. The event was concluded with felicitation of the guest and a thankful note was delivered by Dr Seema Saini, HOD of the commerce department.
Student Feedback: Students enthusiastically participated in the event, justifying the session’s objective by learning the difference between self employed and entrepreneurs ,and skills required to start up a business.

Learning Outcomes: The session motivated the students to develop and apply their innovative ideas into action to become an entrepreneur along with that this session helps them that what are the perquisites for becoming a successful entrepreneur.
