Brief details of the event highlights:DCA, CBSA organized an expert talk on the topic “Process of Innovation Development & Technology Readiness Level (TRL)" & "Commercialization of Lab Technologies & Tech-Transfer” on 24th January, 2023. The aim of this event was to enlighten young students on the process of innovation development and Technology Readiness Level (TRL), and Technology Transfer, and motivated them. Students were introduced with the concept of TRLs which can allow them to have an understanding of readiness for a particular technology, its evolution, scope, and how to achieve top level regardless of their technical background. The TRLs measure the maturity level of a technology throughout its research, development and deployment phase progression. They also got to know about the scaling-based system from 1 to 9, with 9 being the most mature technology.
