Brief details of the event highlights: Department of Computer Applications, CBSA, organized a Faculty Development Programme on the topic “Machine Learning using Python” from 20th June to 24th June, 2022. It provided an opportunity to acquire knowledge about current technological developments in relevant fields. This FDP mainly focuses on Machine Learning algorithms and Mobile Application Development and their applications with a practical approach.
Day-wise Contents of the FDP:
Day 1:--Python Basics (Syntax, variables & operators, loops, conditions, functions, classes & oops , file handling) Variables, Data Types, Loops, Conditional Statements, functions, decorators, lambda functions, file handling, exception handling, etc. Mobile Application Development basics.
Day 2:--Python modules (PIP, Modules, json, requests, numpy, pandas, matplot, seaborn). Flutter Introduction.
Day 3:--Machine Learning Intro (Basics, types, algorithms, data visualization, collection data, scraping) Make use of Numpy and Pandas to implement numerical algorithms: Learn to use Numpy for Numerical Data, Array and Matrix manipulation Library Numpy. Application Development using Flutter.
Day 4:--Machine Learning (data preprocessing, Classification, Regression, training models, checking accuracy). API connectivity.
Day 5:--Machine Learning (Clustering and KNN Algorithm, Image classifier, keras, tensorflow) Learn to use Pandas for Data Analysis: Three important data structure of pandas: Series, Data Frame, Panels. Build creation for IOS and Android.
Faculty Feedback: Faculty Members participated enthusiastically and inquired about the different Libraries available in the Python that supports Machine learning. They also passionately participated in the special session on Flutter technology. They found it very interesting, informative and helpful.
