Brief details of the event: BBA Department, CBSA, CGC Landran organized one-day industrial visit to KITTY INDUSTRIES PVT.LTD, Near Kohara, Chandigarh road, Ludhiana on 25th April, 2022. Kitty Bread is one of the largest manufacturers of bread & bakery products in Punjab.
Industrial visits are considered as one of the tactical methods of teaching as it provides practical knowledge through interactions, working methods and employment practices. The prime aim of industrial visit is to provide an exposure to students about practical working environment. It enhances career of a student who is pursuing a professional degree. It also provided students an insight regarding internal working of companies as Industrial realities are opened to the students through industrial visits which in turn help to combine their theoretical knowledge with industrial knowledge. Students here learned about the quality processing of bread and its production in a clean and hygienic manner in order to make them available to the consumers.
Learning for the students: It was a good opportunity to interact with experts and learn practical knowledge along with theory concepts. All the students got an opportunity to experience firsthand, different concepts that the students study in their textbook. They also learned how these concepts are applied in the corporate world

Learning Outcomes: Students are benefited with real life examples of business management and enhanced interpersonal skills. It provided the students with an opportunity to learn practical working and employment practices. The students also learned about how different aspects of management like HRM, Marketing, Production, Operations, and various other technologies are used in business. These visits are also an opportunity which provides an insight to the students on the nature of skills they should enhance for their corporate careers.
