Industrial visit to well esteemcompany” Power Engineering”, Mohali was organized by CBSA, Department of commerce for the students of B.com 1st semester on 1st October, 2024. Power engineers operate and maintain reactors, turbines, boilers, generators, stationary engines and auxiliary equipment to generate electrical power and to provide heat, light, refrigeration and other utility services for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings and other work sites. Our industrial visit to Power Engineering in Mohali was an insightful experience aimed at understanding the functioning of a renowned power engineering company.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and escorted to the factory, the nerve center of the organization. The factory buzzed with activity as engineers and technicians worked diligently on various electrical panel projects. The students were briefed about the production process, from initial design to final assembly. Engineers shared their experiences and emphasized the importance of precision, safety, and compliance in electrical panel manufacturing. The production team demonstrated how projects are selected, engineered, and assembled before they are delivered. It was clear that behind every panel lies a rigorous process dedicated to ensuring high-quality and reliable electrical solutions.

Students applauded the infrastructure of company along with the processing unit, which enlightened them about the factory process and latest trends and techniques. The industrial visit to Power Engineering was a valuable learning experience that provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of a reputable power engineering organization. They gained insights into the manufacturing process, witnessed the integration of technology, and appreciated the dedication of the staff towards delivering quality goods to the merchants. This visit has enriched our knowledge and appreciation for the field of manufacturing and will undoubtedly serve as a guiding light in our academic and professional pursuits. The entire industrialist appreciated the efforts of CGC for organizing the industrial visit, which enhance the professional and practical knowledge of the students.
