Brief details of the event highlights: Department of computer Applications, CBSA organized an event “Internal Hackathon” on 22nd September, 2023 to enhance the creative and innovative mindset among the MCA & BCA students. The competition was themed to provide opportunities for young developers to generate innovative ideas, to work in collaboration and to solve problems of the future. Hackathon involves creativity and critical thinking of individuals. Participants came up with new ideas and implemented the latest technologies while making the solutions of the problem/scenario offered. It was intended to encourage the students to innovate something feasible and useful to the environment, businesses and to society.
Student Feedback: Students participated very enthusiastically. They used their creativity and development skills. They came out with very innovative and useful ideas and implemented the latest technologies.

Learning Outcomes: Students came up with new ideas and implemented the latest technologies while making the solutions of the problem/scenario offered. They learned to work in collaboration and to solve problems of the future. Hackathon involves creativity and critical thinking of individuals.Their ideas are based on the themes such as: Smart Automation, Medtech/Biotech/ Healthtech, Smart Vehicles, Transportation & Logistics, Robotics and Drones, Clean & Green Technology, Tourism, Blockchain & Cybersecurity, Smart Education, Digital Shopping Performance, Product QR Codes. Students were given very unique and innovative ideas and offered solutions for today’s real life problems.
This event helped in attaining:
PO4: Conduct investigations of complex Computing problems: User search-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
PO5: Modern Tool Usage: Create, select, adapt and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern computing tools to complex computing activities, with an understanding of the limitations.
PO7: Life-long Learning: Recognize the need, and have the ability, to engage in independent learning for continual development as a computing professional.
