Brief details of the event: A virtual interactive session was organized for MBA final year students on “How to plan start-up and its ethical and legal aspect” on 5th February 2021. The session was addressed by an eminent speaker and businesswoman, Ms. Amarpal Kaur, owner of Ardaas Financial solutions and services.
Learning for the students: Students really appreciated the session and were very enthusiastic to know more on legal and ethical aspects of start-ups.

Expert Narration: The discussion was held on process of registration of start-up and patenting of ideas. The pivot of discussion was also on the need and enrichment of knowledge on existing startups and businesses to generate ideas. Students were motivated and encouraged to aim at their own startups leading to generation of employment. Students’ queries were taken at the end of the session regarding difference between startup and business, need to understand strategies of competitors, how the government is helping developing ideas for startups, what are relaxation given by the government in initial years of building a start-up.
