Brief details of the event: MBA Dept, Chandigarh Business School of Administration, Landran organized an expert talk in association with ACIC Rise Association on “Entrepreneurship, Innovation and IPR as a Career Opportunity” on 11th November 2022. The experts for the session were Mr. Saurabh Dey, Senior Manager (Patent & Research Analytics), and Mr. Ashutosh Rana – IP Attorney, Ennoble IP Indian Patent Agent. The Objective of this session was to give students a brief idea about Intellectual Property Rights.

Learning Outcomes: Mr. Ashutosh started the session by explaining the students the importance of IPR and how legal rights are given to the inventor or creator to protect his creation or invention for a certain period. He also focused on the importance of IPR in today’s competitive arena. Mr. Dey also elaborated on how Intellectual Property Rights will help an individual to set his/her business apart from competitors and help in generating an important revenue stream.
Learning Outcomes: The students gained in depth knowledge about Intellectual Property Rights.
