Faculty members of MBA, BBA & Commerce programmes at Chandigarh Business School of Administration (CBSA), Landran, had a valuable opportunity to participate in a One Week Faculty Development Programme on "Future Centric Educators: AI Integration in Research" held at the institute from 6th to 10th July 2026. The programme commenced with a Welcome Speech followed by the Lamp Lighting ceremony and an inaugural address by Prof. (Dr.) Ramandeep Saini, Director Principal, CBSA, setting the tone for a week-long journey of research and pedagogical enrichment.
Day 1 began with a session on Introduction to AI Tools in Academic Research, AI-Powered Research Title and Literature Review, and Systematic Mapping, delivered by Dr. Jatinder Singh, Assistant Professor, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib, who familiarized participants with the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in streamlining the research process.
On Day 2, Dr. Satinder Kumar, Associate Professor, Punjabi University, Patiala, conducted an in-depth session on Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), covering concepts, model building, path analysis, and the interpretation of SEM results for journal publication, providing faculty with practical exposure to advanced statistical tools used in quality research.
Day 3 featured Dr. Karuna Babber, Assistant Professor-IT, PG Government College, Sector 11, Chandigarh, who delivered insightful sessions on AI-Assisted Academic Writing and Publication Strategy, Digital Tools for Reference and Citation Management, and Research Ethics and Academic Integrity. The sessions emphasized responsible and ethical research practices while demonstrating digital tools that enhance academic writing quality, reference management, and publication readiness.
On Day 4, Dr. Nitesh Goyal, Assistant Professor, DAV College, Chandigarh, delivered sessions on AI in Taxation and Accounting and Fintech 5.0 and Digital Transformation, highlighting the transformative impact of AI and digital innovation on commerce and financial education.
The concluding day, Day 5 featured Dr. Tarlochan Singh, Founder Director, Psychowaves Psychological Services, who spoke on Growth Mindset and Future Ready Educator, followed by a session on Technology Enabled Learning and Innovative Pedagogy by Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Associate Professor, NITTTR Chandigarh. The programme concluded with a Valedictory Session and Certificate Distribution, followed by High Tea, marking a successful culmination of an enriching and knowledge-driven week for the faculty of CBSA, Landran.
