Brief details of the event: Chandigarh Business School of Administration organized an online webinar on āImplementation of National Education Policy (NEP), 2020ā on 1st April, 2021. The resource person of the event was Dr. Siby John, Professor of Civil Engineering and Deputy Director, Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh. Dr John has more than 30 years of academic and research experience. He is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers India and an active member of several other professional bodies like Indian Association for Environmental Management, Indian Society for Technical Education, Indian Association for Air Pollution Control and EWRI of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
The aim of conducting this webinar was to provide an understanding to the students regarding the implementation of National Education Policy launched by the Government of India in the year 2020. The expert discussed the idea behind the revolution planned in the education sector through the various provisions of the concerned policy. He also discussed about the ways the policy can be implemented effectively to achieve the greater employability, flexibility and excellence at all the levels of education.
Learning for the students: The students of all the departments of CBSA enthusiastically participated in the online webinar. The session created an awareness amongst the students regarding the radical changes and reforms that surrounds the education sector in the near future.
