The Department of Commerce, CBSA, accustomed new students of B.Com (Hons.) with college environment by welcoming note of Campus Director Sir and Director Principal, CBSA on the day of Orientation. In continuation of which, an Induction Program was organized from 23rd July to 29th July 2025. The program aimed to acquaint students with the institution’s academic environment, core values and opportunities for innovation and career development. The Program initiated with a welcome address by the Head of Department Dr. Seema Saini, followed by insightful session on the importance of NPTEL/MOOCs and other certification courses and essentials of Intellectual Property Rights. On the following day, different sessions were conducted covering intellectual speech by Director Academics and session on yoga, library and psychology. The students were enlightened with the placement opportunities by TPP Department, potentials to participate in cultural activities by Student Welfare Department, followed by IQAC session and alumni interaction. To foster engagement and a sense of community, the program featured interactive ice-breaking activity of Battle Hunt in which students participated enthusiastically and also enjoyed local trip to Elante Mall. Some other additional sessions focused on time management, human values and environmental liability. The program increased student awareness of academic resources, supplementary online courses and future prospects like placements and overseas study.
