Press Note on Expert Talk on JAVA

Department of Computer Applications, Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran, Mohali organized one day expert lecture on “JAVA” for the students of BCA and MCA final semester on 9th of September 2019 at seminar hall, Block no- 11, Dr. Vikas Dhawan , Director-Principal, CGC-COE and Mr. Tejinder Singh Brar , Head of Computer Application Department and MCA & BCA faculty members also graced the occasion.

Report Objective: - The objective of this expert talk was to provide knowledge about JAVA, Android and emerging languages.

Resource person: Expert speaker Mr. Tejinder Singh with more than 12 years of experience delivered the talk on JAVA.

Audience: More than 90 students attended the session and benefited from the talk . The topic was opted because of its utility and scope in the existing time .The talk received an overwhelming response and the students cleared.

About the lecture and Outcome: The lecture was placement oriented and about the need of learning the upcoming languages. The speaker emphatically stressed on the need of learning the languages. He also elucidated the need of JAVA and Android.

Conclusion: - Speaker stressed on the need of learning and acquiring the expertise over the languages .His Java as a prospering language was his major concern.
