Summary report of the event: MBA Dept., Chandigarh Business School of Administration, Landran actively organizes Varta Series to strengthen the Institutions Industry Interface. This time in association with Institution’s Innovation Council, United Nations Academic Impact and AKAM – an initiative of Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of Independence, on the occasion of National Energy Conservation Day on 14 th December organized a session on “Energy Conservation for Sustainable Development”. The speaker for the session was Mr. Gautam Sharma, Founder of Surya Enviro and Surya Chemicals. The main focus of the session was to make students aware about the various sustainable activities which help us to move forward in the area of energy conservation.
Student Feedback: The speaker shared his inspiring life stories with the students. The concept of energy is not only limited to the environment and the surroundings, but also the one’s inner self. The students were happy to learn about the various industrial practical insights shared by him for development of sustainable energy developments. The session also sensitized the students about making conscious decisions to use less energy and its impact on the environment.
