Brief details of the event: BBA Department, CBSA organized a session on Entrepreneurial Skills & Opportunities, on 14th September, 2023 to infuse up the students with a zeal of motivation to learn and explore new entreprenueral opportunities.The main aim of the session was to encourage the students to give their creative ideas on entrepreneurship and to collectively work upon building entrepreneurial and innovative skills of the students helping them devise business models and help them start up their businesses.
Mr Kanwaljeet took up the session with the students and enlightened them with new knowledge about entrepreneurial skills. He emphasized in his session that becoming a successful entrepreneur is natural for some, others require certain essential skills to start and lead a business to success. These skills determine your entrepreneurial success. Successful entrepreneurs have mastery over both hard and soft skills. Hard skills like accounting, marketing and financial planning are critical for running and managing a business and soft skills like communication, problem-solving and decision making help you scale up your business. Mastery of entrepreneur skills requires practice and a dedicated learning plan.

Learning Outcomes: The event helped to provide meaningful insights to Entrepreneurship concept. Students cleared few myths of entrepreneurship like innovation is planned and predictable, Technical specifications should be thoroughly prepared, Creativity lies in dreams and blue sky ideas, big projects develop better innovation and technology is the driving force of innovative success.
