Summary report of the event:MBA Dept., Chandigarh Business School of Administration actively organizes Varta Series to strengthen the Institutions Industry Interface. This time in association with Institution’s Innovation Council, actively organized a session on “The Concepts of Entrepreneurship and Skill Development”. The speaker for the session was Mr. Sushant Sharma- Life Coach and Business Mentor- MEPSC, New Delhi. The session helped the students to understand the core concept of Entrepreneurship in detail and encouraged them to opt entrepreneurship as a career option.
Student Feedback: The speaker shared the evolution of entrepreneurship and explained how it is linked to number of ideas like taking risks, innovating, being creative and being sustainable. The speaker also emphasized on the topic that entrepreneurship development is a process of enhancing the skill set and knowledge of entrepreneurs regarding the development, management and organization of business venture. The session aimed towards facilitating skill development amongst budding entrepreneurs and helping them to tackle their struggles with building their businesses.
