
Brief details of the event highlights: MBA Dept., Chandigarh Business School of Administration, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran organized a session on “Business Model Canvas For Rural Entrepreneurship” by Prof. Chetan Director, MGNCRE. The session was organized under the VARTA series in association with Mahatma Gandhi National Council for Rural Education (MGNCRE), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
The session is an endeavour to work towards the vision of our worthy Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji to build an Aatmanirbhar Bharat. The online session involved various insights on the various measures and enormous opportunities being explored by MGNCRE in order to build an Aatmanirbhar Bharat. Prof. Chetan gave a brief introduction about “One District One Product” scheme being followed by MGNCRE and other training and internship opportunities offered by MGNCRE. Prof. Chetan also precisely explained the importance and structure of the business model in rural entrepreneurial sector.
Learning for the students: 50+ participants from Chandigarh Business School of Administration attended the session. The session has motivated the students and faculty members to gear up and build sustainable business models in order to generate funding and catering to different set of target markets. Various queries of the participants were handled precisely by the resource persons. The participants’ carried huge take aways on building sustainable business models.
