Brief details of the event highlights: Department of Computer Applications, CBSA organized an expert lecture on topic “Data Science” on 26th April, 2022. Mr. Sunil Kumar from ThinkNEXT Technologies Pvt. Ltd., was the expert for this expert lecture. The objective of the session was to provide knowledge about Python basics and Data Science. Mr Kumar provided knowledge regarding what is data science, difference between data science and data analytics tools which can be used for data science, basic data types of python, hand-on sessions on how to install python and how to compile and run python programs. He also explained how to run Numpy files in Jupyter.
Student Feedback: Students from MCA and BCA attended the session and benefited from the talk. Students participated in a very enthusiastic way and this expert lecture received an overwhelming response.

Learning Outcomes: Students came to know about the importance of Data Science in today’s technical world. They also learned programming and development skills from the event. They learnt how to correlate and use Python language for Data Science.This event helped in attaining:
