Professor Dileep Kumar M. is an educator, edupreneur, educational consultant, academic administrator and Professor at Nilai Field Research Centre, Malaysia. Professor Kumar M. has worked in institutions like the University Institute of International and European Studies (Netherlands), Berjaya Business School (Malaysia), International Teaching University, Georgia (East Europe), University Utara Malaysia, (Malaysia) MoHE& Ministry of Manpower (Sultanate of Oman), Symbiosis Center for Management & HRD (India) etc. He also worked as the Director of DBA Program (UNIES, Netherlands), Head of Leadership, innovation and Change Competence Center (OYAGSB, UUM, Malaysia) and Coordinator of Research Method Courses for DBA and research programs (UUM) Malaysia. He was the Director of Corporate Relations and Training, during his tenure with AIMS, India. Professor Kumar M. has published 170 research papers and case studies in management (including 55 ISI/Scopus journal papers), 56 online articles, 9 books, 3 monographs, 6 papers in edited books, several case studies (including Emerald Emerging Marketing Cases) and presented more than 70 research papers in international conferences.
Brief details of the event: Chandigarh Business School of Administration (CBSA) Chandigarh Group College (CGC) Landran in collaboration with NILAI Field Consultancy and Training (NFCT), Malaysia organized a 5-Day International E-Workshop on “Insights into Qualitative and Quantitative Research” from 26.07.21- 30.7.21.
This E-workshop aimed to train the participants in the use of appropriate modes of analyzing qualitative and quantitative data. It delivered detailed sessions on qualitative methodology. Professor Kumar M. discussed when to use qualitative methods, how to define a study sample, and the difference between qualitative and quantitative research methods. This E-workshop presented different examples of qualitative research projects, including the research questions used, also, research theory used, the study sample, and the qualitative research methods used. At the end of the session, Professor Kumar M. answered all the queries of participants.
Response of the participants: The participants appreciated the theme, delivery and knowledge of the expert. It was a great learning experience.
